Terms and Conditions of Use

Welcome to codecbridge.com, operated by DigitalizaMedios, a studio for digitizing old media in Lima. By accessing and using our services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. We recommend reading them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

The use of services offered by DigitalizaMedios (transfer of VHS tapes, audio cassettes, and 8mm film reels to digital formats) constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of each and every one of the terms and conditions published in this document.

2. Description of Service

Our audiovisual laboratory acts as a technical "bridge" for converting analog physical media to standard digital formats (e.g., MP4, digital audio files). We are not responsible for the content recorded on the media provided by the client.

3. Client Rights and Limitations

• The client declares to be the legitimate owner or have the necessary rights over the content to be digitized.
• The client agrees not to use our service for movie piracy, illegal duplication, or any activity that infringes copyright.
• DigitalizaMedios reserves the right to reject any material it deems suspicious of illegality.

4. Ownership and Delivery

The original physical media (tapes, cassettes) will be returned to the client along with the digital media (USB, disk). We reserve the right to retain materials in case of non-payment. Digital files will be delivered in standard formats and without DRM protection.

5. Limitation of Liability

Given the old and degradable nature of the media, DigitalizaMedios does not guarantee the final quality of the digital file nor the full recovery of content if the tape is damaged. The service is provided on a "best technical effort" basis.

6. Privacy and Data

Client content is treated confidentially. Intermediate files are deleted from our systems after a period of 30 days from delivery. For more details, please see our Privacy Policy.

7. Modifications

DigitalizaMedios may modify these terms at any time. Changes will take effect after their publication on this page. Continued use of the service implies acceptance of the new terms.
